Worleston

Three miles north of Nantwich, going towards Church Minshull and Winsford, is the little village of Worleston. J Hulse have been trading their since 1878, so they must be doing something right! It's less than 2 miles form Reaseheath College so is also popular with discerning students!

They've a range of groceries etc. but the main reason why many (including myself) go here is the bakery, and specifically the pies.

They make different items on different days (and they'll give you a leaflet showing you the baking week at a glance).

For instance you can usually get Eccles cakes, iced buns and tea cakes on a Monday; egg custard tarts, Swiss rolls and scones on a Tuesday, pizza, assorted quiche and fruit pies on a Thursday; fancy cakes, fruit flans, vanilla slices on a Friday.

They also do fresh sandwiches, outside buffet catering and celebration cakes.
