On a busy corner, where Barlow Moor Road meets Wilmslow Road, is Evans of Didsbury. It's a very good fishmongers, and they also sell poultry and game and fruit and vegetables.The fish was obviously fresh and top quality, and nothing was to much trouble for the busy staff. I bought some thick boned cod fillets, which they offered to skin for me, and they supplied parsley for some parsley sauce. I also bought a nice dressed crab and some kippers. Next time I'll try the attractive looking fish kebabs.
