Amerton Farm

The hen on the picture was the second one to greet me as I visited Amerton Farm!

They have a vast array of attractions to appeal to all the family. When our children were younger we used to take them on the miniature railway (to visit Father Christmas).

Amerton Farm first opened to the general public in 1984, when ice cream was made and
the old cowshed was turned into a Tea Room. Today well over 400,000 visitors a year arrive at Amerton Farm and Craft Centre. There's a tea room which serves local produce wherever possible. The farm shop sell jams, pickles, local cheeses and meat, locally produced wine and Amerton Farm beer. There's a sweet shop and bakery which also makes celebration cakes.
