This is the second mention of J W Mettrick & Son (I've previously mentioned their branch in Hadfield). Five generations of Mettricks have been serving the people of Glossop (and much farther afield) with their meat. They've won numerous awards and have also had numerous TV appearances.
Their High Peak lamb is superb, tender but well flavoured. It's not surpising it tastes good, their lamb is raised above 1,000 feet on the heather, herbs and grasslands of the High Peak in Derbyshire.J W Mettrick & Son Ltd
