Porter's Delicatessen is run by Derek and Tracey Hughes (both used to work for North Western Farmers).The couple clearly know a lot about fine foods and the shop is full of some of their more interesting discoveries.
There's over 70 carefully selected British and Continental cheeses and you're encouraged to taste before you buy.
Try their jamón serrano (mountain ham), a dry-cured Spanish ham, which is best served raw in thin slices, similar to the Italian prosciutto. 
They also do online sales at www.oilandmore.co.uk where you can buy single estate olive oils, infused oils, balsamic and fruit vinegars and other fine foods. If you're visiting the Llangollen Food Festival this weekend I would you recommend you give them a visit.
