Sheffield - Cocoa

Happy Valentine's Day!  In Japan, it has become an obligation for many women to give chocolates to all male co-workers. This is known as giri-choko (義理チョコ), from the words giri ("obligation") and choko, ("chocolate").  Something similar happens in South Korea.  So I thought I'd do a post today about a rather fine place in Sheffield to take your partner to today.I couldn't walk past a shop called Cocoa, and once you're inside this shop it gets even more fascinating. The first room is a shop packed with pretty gifts:
There's sweets in jars (not just chocolate), there's a good range of bars from Rococo and single estate Valrhona bars and Divine Fair Trade chocolate.
Behind this is what I would regard as a temple to chocolate!  There's posters and books to read and you can buy really thick hot chocolate.  They also have occasionally have chocolate tastings.
In case you don't like (does anyone not like chocolate?) they also sell traditional drinks like ginger beer or dandelion and burdock and they have a range of unusual teas, stored in an old till:
