Lostwithiel Farmers Market is run by the Cornish Guild of Smallholders, and takes place in Lostwithiel Community Centre on alternate Fridays (see here for details). It's the sort of market where it's best not to go with a shopping list, but just see what's there and in season and buy what takes your fancy.

This stall was called Kerensa Aval (which apparently means Apple Friendship) and this group of orchard owners in the Tamar and Lynher valleys grow over 30 traditional Cornish apple varieties and produce blended and single variety juices.
