Great Budworth Real Dairy Ice Cream Farm

Great Budworth is a real picture postcard village used in films and frequently on calendars.
It's not far from the lovely gardens at Arley Hall and the Anderton Boat Lift. Just out of the village is Great Budworth Real Dairy Ice Cream Farm. New Westage Farm is a small dairy farm run by the Wilkinson family with a herd of Friesian cows and they've been making icecream since 1994. There's also a maize trail and sometimes there's carriage rides. If you go on Sunday 14th September 2008 you can also listen to the Bostock Band.

Our tasting team tried a ginger, a blackberry and bilberry and a low sugar icecream.

Great Budworth is a lovely village featuring a small friendly school, a church an ice cream farm, the George and Dragon pub, other Farms tennis courts, a bowling green, but what shocks everyone the most is the old scenery.
