Borough Market - Meat

Grouse, partridge, pigeon, wild ducks, rabbits hares, pheasant, you name it you can get it from Furness Fish, Poultry and Game Supplies. They're based at Flookburgh, just south of the Lake District and on the edge of Morecambe Bay.

There's plenty of other sellers of meat at Borough Market. One stall was even selling pigs' heads (to see you through the week)!
Northfield Farm, on the Rutland Leicestershire border, sells rare breed meat including Dexters and White Park beef (one of Britain's oldest breeds).

If you haven't got time, and are entertaining, you can get some very attractive terrines (and truffles) from Tartufaia, although personally I'd avoid the ones containing foie gras.
