Not far from Cholmondeley (pronounced Chumly) Castle is Cholmondeley Castle Farm Shop. This shop is the local post office and village store selling newspapers, fresh bread and the usual items.
However they also sell Cholmondeley Longhorn Beef, Gloucester Old Spot Pork and hand made fudge and local cheeses etc.
Sadly the pheasant pate I bought (reduced to 60p) turned out to be made in Belgium!
