Alcumlow Hall

Just of the A34 Alcumlow Hall Farm is a family run farm shop, owned and managed by John and Lorraine Cliff. It's a mile north of the National Trust's amazing Little Moreton Hall, Cheshire's iconic black and white house. You can purchase freshly prepared meats, poultry and hand-turned hams and cured bacon. A wide selection of locally grown seasonal vegetables is always on display. They're also wholesale suppliers of poultry (turkey, geese, duck and chicken) to hotels, public houses, restaurants and retail markets.

My Mum used to say "where a hat and get ahead"! So above the farm shop is 2 Tempting Hat Hire, where they have a selection of designer hats.

If you go there soon, why not also visit Rode Hall? Some fifty different varieties of snowdrops can be seen in this fine garden set in a Humphry Repton landscape.

It was in the kitchen garden at Rode Hall that the world champion gooseberry was grown in 1993!

There's also a Farmers Market at Rode Hall:
