Goldenhill

I've always wondered why Goldenhill got its name, but according to Wikipedia Peter Coates (currently the owner of Stoke City Football Club and has been listed as the 25th richest person in British football) is from Goldenhill, so maybe there is gold in this hill.

I went there prospecting for oatcakes! The lady I asked would not allow me to take a picture inside the shop, so you'll have to settle for just the outside. Notice how many of these shops have a car parked outside (even when there's yellow lines) as potters pick up their fix of oatcakes. My cheese and onion oatcake cost £1-10.
