This shop is less than 6 miles from junction 31 of the M6 (heading East), look out for a sign with a pink pig when travelling on the A59. It doesn't look particularly attractive from the road, but when you get in the shop and cafe you realise that Phillip and Louise Edge are serious about their food. The family have been pig farmers for at least 3 generations and understand what good meat is. Their sausages are consistently good, I've also had some very nice beef from here. Special Diets are catered for including gluten free and additive free.Very close is Mrs Dowsons ice cream. They were closed when I was passing, so reports please?
