I hate plastic bags. I especially hate shops that sell mushrooms in plastic bags (they keep much better in paper bags). The press are full of the fact that M & S are going to charge for plastic carrier bags soon.
Well this oatcake shop already does it (3p for a carrier bag) but it didn't hit the Daily Mail (the Daily Mail are apparently running a campaign and are trying to take all the credit).I nearly missed this oatcake shop, but was glad that I didn't - as I consider it to be one of the best.
It's well hidden and not listed in some other guides, but fortunately I spotted a sign on Keelings Road.
The oatcakes taste good and what I particularly liked was their texture.
