We were visiting a relative in hospital in Worcester today and so, whilst in the area, went on "The Blossom Trail". This is around the Vale of Evesham and incorporates the towns of Evesham and Pershore. There are also walks and cycle rides, you can get a leaflet from the tourist information centres in Evesham and Pershore, or download it here:

You need to be aware the the plum blossom is earlier than the apple blossom (and this year is now over). The apple blossom is just coming into bloom. A good crop of blossom is not necessarily an indication of a good harvest; more blossom means more apples, which can mean smaller fruit and then a poorer crop next year.
There are some excellent farm shops on the trail. Whilst they obviously won't have this year's harvest in yet, they do sell plum jams, apple juice, ciders and fruit gins from last year's harvest and this year's asparagus. The effect of eating asparagus on one's urine has long been known (see Wikipedia). But only 40% of the population have the autosomal genes required to smell them!
