The Fleece Inn

Whilst doing the Blossom Trail, we decided to have lunch at the Fleece Inn.

The Fleece Inn is an unspoilt English pub, owned by the National Trust. It's a black-and-white half-timbered house, which originally sheltered a farmer and his stock under the same roof and first became a licensed house in 1848.

The Fleece Inn is a key part of the British Asparagus Festival, which this year runs from the 23rd April to the 21st June 2008. There's an Asparagus Auction at the Fleece Inn on 25th May and also 1st June 2008.

If you want to learn more about asparagus, you can go on an AsparaBus guided tour on 7th, 14th or 21st May 2008!
