The Hollies Farm Shop

My Mum always said you shouldn't have favourites, but if I had to have a favourite farm shop it would definitely be the Hollies Farm Shop. The original farm shop is on the A49, four miles north east of Tarporley and now they've got a second shop less than a mile south of junction 10 of the M56. The Little Budworth branch also has a brand new garden centre and the Lower Stretton branch has a Concept Café with dishes based on ingredients sold in the shop.

Everything they do show great attention to detail. The food is some of the best available (sourced locally where possible). They have, amongst many other things, chutneys, jams and marmalades from the nearby Arley Estate, honey from Cheshire Honey Farms, Mrs Darlington's preserves from Crewe and also their own range. They also sell Cheshire chocolates made in High Lane, Cheshire, fruit juices from nearby Eddisbury Fruit Farm, and Seasoned Pioneers authentic and specialist seasonings made in Bromborough, Wirral.

HSBC has awarded The Hollies Farm Shops, Best Rural Retailer 2008 and I can't think of a better candidate.
