Kenyon Hall is very easy to get to. It's just 1 mile from Junction 22 of the M6 (going East on the A579).
Tod and Barbara Bulmer are very well known to people who care about food in the North West. Kenyon Hall is one of the leading pick your own farms in the North West, growing 30 acres of fruit and vegetables. Tod and Barbara Bulmer founded Northern Harvest in 2002 which delivers produce from Kenyon Hall and over 80 other local producers and will be mentioned in a later post.I was very impressed with the large variety of herbs they have, over 100 varieties. I bought 10 different plants (many quite unusual) for £10, considerable cheaper than elsewhere. They've currently got their own grown fresh asparagus, pick your own fruit will start next month, and in October they'll have pumpkins and squashes.
