Leek Oatcake Shop

The Leek Oatcake Shop (I think is also known as Asplins Oatcakes) will always have a special place in my heart, as it was the first proper oatcake shop I ever visited.

It's amazed me how the man would come out and pour out the oatcakes (all perfectly formed), and then disappear, and then know exactly the right time to reappear and flip them over.

Asplins Oatcakes was known as the best oatcake shop in Staffordshire. It was a shame when Mr Asplin sold the business as I believe it had been in the family for 3 generations
