The Old Fire Station Chocolate Shop is situated, not surprisingly, in what used to be a fire station! Tarporley first had an independent fire station in 1866, the original site is now a museum.Charles and Sandra Hardy produce a range of continental truffles and other chocolate products under the Freudenberg brand. Charles was a director of Squirrel Horn PLC, based in Stockport (manufacturers of cherry lips!).
There's a café and they also sell Snugburys icecream. They've now also got an outlet at Blakemere Craft Centre, Sandiway and Lady Heyes Craft Centre near Frodsham.
