Brockhampton

The Brockhampton Estate is a National Trust property, 13 miles West of Worcester, just off the A44 near Bromyard.
Lower Brockhampton House is a romantic medieval moated manor house. We visited yesterday and had an excellent light lunch in the estate tea rooms (pictured at top of this post).

There was a strong emphasis on local food with ingredients from the estate or sourced locally where possible.

There's a small shop which sells jam including damson and some nice Brockhampton chutney. Brockhampton Estate's Raspberry Jam was one of The National Trust Fine Farm Produce Awards winners. The fruit is hand-picked and the jam is made with only the fruit and sugar.

You can also buy Brockhampton charcoal.

There are four circular walks around the estate where you can see (amongst many other things) Hereford cattle, Ryeland sheep and red-legged partridge.
