I normally am a suspicious of "farm shops" at garden centres. The food often isn't local at all.
So I was pleasantly surprised when I called into Okells nurseries to look at their Farm Shop.They sell rhubarb and apple juice from nearby Windsor's fruit farm, Mrs Darlington's preserves from Crewe, meat from Stockton & Stratton, ready meals from J T Vernon in Holt, nearby Cheshire Farm ice cream and from just down the road, Andrew Hope's Tiresford Guernsey Gold yoghurt.
They have fresh bread delivered daily and a good selection of cakes.
