Port of Lancaster Smokehouse

Situated in Glasson Dock, where the Lancaster Canal meets the River Lune and the sea, is the Port of Lancaster Smokehouse.
If it swims, flies or runs they will smoke it! Their wide range includes smoked salmon and sea trout (when in season), smoked duck and pheasant, smokes ham and bacon.

They also do a range of smoked cheese including Mrs Kirkham's Lancashire, Grandma Singleton's Mature Cheddar and Bishop Cropwell Blue Stilton.

They aslo have a range of unsmoked items including Goosnargh Corn Fed Poultry, game (when in season) and Cartmel Sticky Toffee Pudding.

I bought some fresh samphire, some potted shrimps and some of their traditionally smoked kipper fillets which recently received an award from North West Fine Foods.
