Bewdley

Bewdley is a fine Georgian town on the banks of the river Severn. It's name comes from "Beau lieu", French for "Beautiful place".

There's an ordinary market every Saturday in Bewdley. Bewdley Farmers' Market should be on the last Sunday of the month, but when I went in July there didn't seem to be one and the helpful people in the tourist information centre hadn't been informed of a new location. So instead I went to Bewdley Farm Shop.
Bewdley Farm Shop is not on a farm, but in the middle of Bewdley. However it does sell produce from local farms.

With the river you almost feel like you're at the seaside! So why not pop into Teddy Gray's where you can buy rock, old fashioned sweets (like rhubarb and custard) and their own ice cream.
