Chatsworth House is one of my favourite stately homes (and gardens). The Chatsworth Farm Shop specialises in the best of local and regional food. Produce is sourced from the estate, tenant farms, Derbyshire suppliers and small food producers.
The shop is a couple of miles from the great house, in the village of Pilsley. When opened it set new standards in farm shop marketing with it's own bakers, butchers, fish counter, dairy, delicatessen, and fruit and vegetables.
It's more like Harrod's food hall than your average market!
