Glossop - Praze Fine Foods

Tracey McCullough and Sarah Mitchell would like to share with you their passion for food! Praze Fine Foods is a delicatessen offering a wide range of gourmet foods.
It's situated in Glossop, conveniently just across the road from Mettricks award winning butchers, and also near to a good fishmongers.
They sell pates, oils, cooked meats, vinegars, pasta, olives, chutneys, jams, antipasti and much more besides.
Items are sourced locally where possible, with cream and eggs coming from about a mile away. Even the Tzatziki is made locally! Cheeses include Appleby's Cheshire, Blacksticks Blue, Carron Lodge Brock Blue, Gorwydd Caerphilly and Ribblesdale goats cheese.

They also have a carefully selected range of wines from their own wine expert (who lives in Oldham!).

Praze is great! I always liked Praze in Glossop but like them even more now that they want to buy the new coffee from The Oromo Coffee Company. This is a fantastic new social enterprise based in Tameside that helps both the Oromo refugees and other local people. Its being supported by Bolling Coffee and the Lorna Young Foundation and the coffee is being launched this week at the House of Lords. Its top notch Fair trade cert coffee. Praze are one of the first buyers and deserve a big hand for actually getting in touch - wanting to both buy a good coffee and help a group of people to find employment and help the economy.
