Hawarden is just in Wales, about 7 miles west of Chester. Hawarden Castle was the home of William Ewart Gladstone, who was prime minister on four separate occasions. Hawarden Estate Farm Shop has been launched by William Ewart Gladstone's great great grandson.
The Hawarden Estate grows around 20 acres of fruit and vegetables. Hawarden Estate Farm Shop is an attractive outlet specialising in it's own produce and seasonal food sourced from local producers. They also sell favourites from further afield such as Somerset cider, Manx kippers, haggis and coffee.
