The William Ambrose Oatcake Shop is about a year old and is in Morris Square in Wolstanton. The owner of the shop told me that today would be his last day in the shop. I'm not surprised he's had enough, - producing oatcakes is hard work and this shop is open 7 days a week (many shut Mondays and Tuesdays). The shop will be shut for a week but will then reopen under new management, so watch this blog.....
