Cambridge - Fitzbillies

Fitzbillies bakery was established in Cambridge in 1922 by the Mason brothers and soon became one of Cambridge's most popular bakeries.
It's famous for it's "ultra sticky" Chelsea buns and Fitzbillies sponge cakes. They make Lardy Cakes on Wednesdays.
Fans of Cambridge graduate Stephen Fry will enjoy his photograph in the window, which says "For all at Fitzbillies, home of the world's Chelsea buns, thank you for my tummy".......

I can certainly vouch for the quality of Fitzbillie's cakes - they made our chocolate wedding cake.
Cambridge is well endowed with excellent cake shops, in fact.
