I was in Morrisons today and fancied a fresh pineapple. I noticed they had 2 sorts on offer, the ordinary ones (reduced from 98p to 78p) and Fair Trade pineapples which were priced at £1.68). The pineapples looked identical. I decided that if I didn't buy the Fair Trade pineapple I would save 90p which would be far more than the pineapple grower could be getting as a Fair Trade incentive. So I bought the cheap pineapple and made a donation to the Disasaters Emergency Committee Congo(DR) Crisis Appeal to ease my conscience.
