Today (the 5th January) is Twelfth Night and is therefore when we will be taking down our Christmas decorations. It's surprising how many people think Twelfth Night falls on the 6th January, but I reckon the first day of Christmas is Christmas day and the rest is maths.Apparently it's unlucky to take down your decorations after Twelfth Night. I don't know what will happen to our local Sainsburys, who were taking their Christmas decorations down on Christmas Eve (as I bought my turkey). Presumably it was to make room for the Easter Eggs?
