Not far from one of my favourite shops, Unicorn Grocery, is Wild at Heart. 
It's a café, and delicatessen, specialising in organic food and animal welfare friendly produce. The friendly owner, Veena Josh, deals with her suppliers directly where possible, and will tell you more about the producers if you ask. Unusually for today, the milk sold in this shop is not homogenised, so you can enjoy the top of the milk on your coffee! Meat comes from Askerton Castle, Graig Farm, Lowther Park Farms and Mansergh Hall. There's a small selection of carefully chosen cheeses including Appleby's Cheshire, Mrs Kirkhams Lancashire and organic Perl Wen soft cheese from Caws Cenarth. I'd not tried Dovedale Cheese before, it's a creamy mild blue brine dipped cheese which I would also recommend.
They also have a good range of organic baby food.
It's easier to park around here than the centre of Chorlton, so I shall make a point of starting and finishing my shopping trips to this great suburb here.
