If you thought shops selling wholefoods look tired and dingy you should visit Whole Foods Market. Whole Foods Market is the world's largest retailer of natural and organic foods, with stores throughout North America and the United Kingdom.
It's situated in the Barkers Building in Kensington High Street.
The large shop extends over three floors.
The displays are superb, anyone interested in retail marketing would learn a lot from visiting this store.
The displays are colourful and everything looks fresh. Their foods are free from artificial preservatives, colours, flavours, sweeteners and hydrogenated fats and they seek out and promote organically grown foods.
There's a good choice of cheeses.
I was surprised how attractive the cake displays were, not normally something you see in this type of shop:
On the top floor there's a café, where you can have a drink and something to eat at quite reasonable prices for London. Whole Foods didn't get as big as they are without making a few enemies, but I was glad I visited this store.
