Yechan Food

I didn't realise that there's quite an active Korean community in Manchester, so I went to Yechan Foods (near Mauldeth Road railway station and Ladybarn Park in south Manchester) to try some Korean food.
There's a shop at the front, and a café at the back - so you can have some Korean food cooked for you before you decide what to take home.
I had some vegetable dumplings and kimchi (a traditional Korean fermented dish made of vegetables with varied seasonings).

Yechan has now moved to the Northern Quarter, and has changed its name to BAEKDU. See here.

Went to Baekdu yesterday and had a nice meal. Prices reasonable for the centre of Manchester. They no longer sell Korean cookery ingredients, just meals in the restaurant.
