Lord Newborough's Rhug Organic Farm Shop is on Telford's busy A5, just over a mile west of Corwen, and just before where you have to decide whether you want to go Bala and it's lake, or Betwys y Coed and Snowdon.
It's won many awards and has a butchers with an excellent display of organic meat, a café, and shop selling 1,400 different items, sourced locally and organic where possible.
There's also a bison corral where for £1.50 (children 50p) you can walk around their bison and free range chickens.
Looking at the bison I thought how much they looked like buffalo, which reminded of the following old joke (best told in a cockney accent).
