We tried Ackee, which they told me was the national dish of Jamaica. It's difficult to describe it's taste, - it reminded me of scrambled eggs and advocado pear! After I'd tried it, I read about Ackee poisoning but happily they must know what they're doing at Yabba and I wasn't affected!
They sell a range of Caribbean seasonings and sauces, such as Coconut Rundown Sauce and unusual pickles and chutneys like Cho Cho & Aubergine Pickle or Red Sorrel Chutney and Spiced Sweet Potato Marmalade. They also have a range of no added sugar products.
