In my last post I managed to sneak a post on a hotel meal, when this blog is supposed to be about good food shops and now I'm featuring a RSPB bird reserve! 
It's an amazing place. In no time at all I'd seen a chaffinch and a coal tit and a blue tit
and even a woodpecker (but can you tell my wife I need a better camera to do this bird justice)?
However this bird reserve also sells it's own organic Welsh mountain lamb so you can support nature conservation and have a tasty meal!
It's best to phone in advance if you want lamb, the staff are very helpful and will provide advice on good walks and where to see wood sculptures etc.
