I'm not sure why the rest of the world doesn't have a branch of the Cultured Bean, but Ramsbottom has two! Walking up the hill from the station on the right is the Cultured Bean coffee bar:
and then a bit further up on the left hand side is the Cultured Bean store selling gourmet coffee, tea and chocolate.
It's a stylish shop, where you can also buy tea pots and cafetieres etc. They sell a wide range of teas from black, green, herbal to fruit infusions, hand made chocloates and they'll grind their freshly roasted coffee as you like it.
If you only buy one thing, make sure it's their Bitter Chocolate Torte which won the Northwest Fine Food Awards in 2007. They also do a White Latte Torte - a ginger biscuit base topped with white chocolate blended with freshly ground expresso beans.
