Ramsbottom - Entwistles

Entwistle’s Delicatessen is the home of Lancashire Sauce, which has already been mentioned in this blog here.
It's a great shop - they've packed a lot into a small shop. They sell local foods like Morecambe bay potted shrimps, Parkers Preserves, local cheeses and their own sticky toffee sauce and sticky toffee puddings. They also do their own home made little pots of pate:
There were 6 flavours when I called: 
  • Brown lentil, hazlenut and garlic, 
  • Chickpea and red lentil, with sundred tomatoes and Boddingtons bitter
  • Brown lentil, mushroom and garlic
  • Chicken liver, port and hazlenut
  • Chicken liver, ginger and lime
  • The East Lancs Steamer - chicken liver, chilli and garlic.
