Eric Celton's Broad Street Deli was quite a find! Eric is a Frenchman from Les Sables-d'Olonne, but married a woman from Sutton Coldfield, so France's loss is our gain! Eric used to run a restaurant in Sutton Coldfield (Truffles) which was a favourite of the Two Fat Ladies. He's now moved to Tenbury Wells and has a delicatessen on Leominster's Broad Street.
He aims to provide top notch home cooked meals for those who don't have the time to cook themselves. He cooks what takes his fancy, maybe boeuf bourguignon, or perhaps cassoulet. Here you can buy home made muffins and apricot tarts.
I particularly enjoyed a Cucumber Relish, that is made for Eric by a friend. I'll definitely be back. With the Marches Little Beer Shoppe moving from Ludlow and Leominster getting shops like Eric's, gourmet Ludlow must be getting nervous!Broad Street Deli
