Situated in the middle of Tarvin, in what used to be a bakery, The Gunnery is named after former owners George Gunnery & Co. It's a restaurant upstairs and a deli downstairs, that becomes a bar in the evenings. The inside of the Georgian building was designed by the famous shop-fitters Parnall & Sons Ltd in 1886.
They sell gourmet food (a lot is made in their own kitchen) and wine and they aim to use local produce where possible.
Since this review was written, The Gunnery no longer operates a deli.
