
Shropshire is one of my favourite counties, and Bridgnorth is one of my favourite towns. It's got the River Severn flowing through it, the Severn Valley Steam Railway, a cliff railway, lots of old buildings and a castle, and good food shops and a market.

If you're in High Town, the Town Hall (erected 1652) is worth a visit.

Here you can get cheap fresh fruit and veg and good meat.

There's an outdoor market on Fridays and Saturdays.
