Bibendum’s Crustacea Stall

The Bibendum Crustacea Stall is situated in the architecturally delightful Michelin House, commissioned by the Michelin Tyre Company Ltd as their first permanent British headquarters in 1909. I always wondered why a tyre company should be associated with good food, until I realised that the tyres were the means to getting to the good food.

Good Food Shopper can't resist a January sale, they have a lobster sale here every Saturday.
Shellfish (clams, crab, lobster, scallops, shrimp, whelks and winkles) are the main thing here, but caviar and smoked fish are also sold.
If you're feeling peckish you can eat in the oyster bar, café or restaurant. At the back is the Conran Shop, where you can buy the Bibendum Cookbook, written by Terence Conran, Simon Hopkinson, and Matthew Harris.
