Llandudno

Llandudno has been described as "Queen of the Welsh Resorts" and is the largest seaside resort in Wales. It's situated on the North Wales coast and has kept its Victorian/Edwardian splendour. The pier is the longest in Wales and the fifth longest in England and Wales:
However I couldn't find a scone shop on the pier to rival the one on Bangor Pier!

The rock shops probably don't belong in a blog of fine food shops, but are still fun!
There's a Victorian Carnival and Festival of Transport each year in May.
It's also fun to go up the Great Orme on either the cable car or the Great Orme Tramway. It's Britain's only remaining cable operated street tramway and was built in 1902.
There's two good places to buy fish in Llandudno which I'll feature soon, and not far from from the tramway, there's a rather fine deli which will be the subject of my next post.
