Cardigan

Happy St David's Day to my Welsh readers. This blog has already visited Jersey, so now it's time to visit Cardigan (groan)! It's the birthplace of the National Eisteddfod and, as its Welsh name Aberteifi tells you, it's at the mouth of the River Teifi.
Cardigan Indoor Market is situated in the Guildhall (which is built in the Ruskinian Gothic architectural style) and is in the centre of this ancient market town.

Ultracomida (the Aberystwyth branch was covered here) used to have a stall,
but sadly they decided to close it. However there's still some good stalls worth a visit.

Carnau Farm sell produce including free range eggs, local beef and cheeses and Welsh honey:
Don's Fresh Fish has a stall on Saturdays.
