Artisan du Chocolat

Happy Easter!  If the Easter Bunny called at your house, I hope she brought you a decent egg?  We were rather taken with the chocolate Scotch eggs, as sold by Artisan du Chocolat.
The Scotch eggs are made by hand with chocolate crumbs, dark chocolate shell, chocolate marshmallow with crunchy puffed rice (as meat with fatty bits), white chocolate hensize egg shell filled with vanilla ganache (white) and passion fruit ganache (yolk). 

Besides Notting Hill, they've also got branches in Chelsea, and in Selfridges (on Oxford Street) and they're also in Borough Market.  The company has had numerous good reviews (the Observer Food Monthy especially recommended their salted caramels).  Their customers include the chef Heston Blumenthal.  

In the stylish Notting Hill shop you can also try their famous chocolate cocktails.  I rather like the way they describe their Easter collection as "unashamedly kitsch"!
