Chesterfield - Chocolate By Design

Chocolate By Design claim they can make just about anything out of chocolate and, having visited their shop in Chesterfield, I can believe it!  The window is full of chocolate cakes:
If you're getting married, come to Chesterfield, where you can buy a cheese wedding cake and a chocolate wedding cake! 
Besides the cakes, there's chocolate pianos, shoes and motorbikes all made in chocolate:
They also do talks on chocolate for school children, and chocolate parties for children or adults.  Chocolate By Design use the finest raw chocolate sourced from Latin American sustainable cacao plantations which is then refined and blended in Belgium, before coming to Chesterfield to be made into chocolate lollipops:
fish and chips
and even false teeth!

We ordered a birthday cake for my granddaughter's 18th birthday and it was stunning. There was a solid chocolate heart on top with her name iced on, pink marshmallowes and coming out of the top was gold curly 'grass' and pink butterflies. It was so beautiful we didn't want to cut it but the cake inside the chocolate was delicious, full of chocolate cream and other gorgeous 'stuff'. Everyone said it was the best birthday cake they had ever seen and my granddaughter was delighted. Also, it was reasonably priced considering the amount of work which had gone into it. If you want a cake for a special occasion, I suggest you try Chocolate By Design first.
