Chesterfield - R P Davidson

R P Davidson was founded by Roy Davidson in 1960, and is now run by his son Simon.  The shop is outside Chesterfield's market and they specialise in selling fine cheese:

The even do cheese wedding cakes!  There's a newspaper cutting proudly displayed in the window, which quotes Dave Myers (one of the Hairy Bikers) describing the shop as "one of the best in the country, and was good enough to rival anything in London"!

The shop sells all sorts of great regional foods like Lincolnshire plum bread:
