Stoneleigh Park - Farmers Fayre

Stoneleigh Park is the home of the Royal Agricultural Society.  For years I've been visiting Stoneleigh, to go to events like the Dairy Event and the Royal Show.  The Dairy Event has now moved to the NEC and the 2009 Royal Show wast the last.  However new events are taking place in the park, in 2012 it will be the home of The Great Exhibition.

Situated in Stoneleigh Park is Farmers Fayre:
The shop sells produce from small local producers.  They sell Midshires Rosé Veal. This veal is naturally low in fat with good levels of Omega 3 and is produced to the highest welfare standards.
The beef and lamb come from Berryfields Farm, Daventry, the pork comes from Buttercross Farms and the free-range poultry comes from Packington Poultry.
There's a café where you can have a light snack or a meal (they also have a catering business).
You can also buy Henley Ice Cream (made in Henley in Arden), local beers and gifts .
Incidentally there's a barrier at the entrance to Stoneleigh Park, but it is open to the public.  Tell the gate-man you want to visit Farmers Fayre and he'll give you directions.
