Ross-on-Wye

Apparently Ross-on-Wye was the birthplace of the British tourist industry (see here for more details).  I start my posts on Ross-on-Wye with a picture of the lovely sandstone Market House which was built in 1650.  There's a market here twice a week (on Thursdays and Saturdays).  There's also a Farmers' Market on the first Friday each month.  Sadly I went on a Monday so missed the markets, but if it's as good as the food shops in this delightful town it will be a good one.
